摘要

In the novel By the Light of My Father's Smile, Alice Walker revealed that the essence of family violence, sexual violence and racial violence was the sexual order with the white/male supremacy, and the people behaviour of conquering, controlling and destroying the nature was also determined by the same conception. Then, Walker found out a way to solve this problem: womanism. It meaned that people should regard the survival and the entireness of whole race (including man and woman) as his own responsibility, and it should be love not man or woman to govern the human beings. Indeed, the womanism raised by Walker was a kind of consciousness of ecological feminism.
