岭南画家伍启中现实主义绘画创作的评析－中国画《心潮逐浪高》引起的思索
摘要
Wu Qizhong rose to fame for his Chinese painting ”Surging Thoughts Like the Tide” in the 1970s. With his solid foundation in form and adept skills in line he based his creation on real life to seek and explore the themes of truth, kindness and beauty. The characters he portrayed were characterized by striking features. He enriched the expressiveness of Chinese painting by combining the style of Chinese painting with skills of Western painting, which contributes to a comprehensive promotion of Chinese figure painting.
