摘要

In the sentence of ”无耻之耻, 无耻矣” in Mencius, the character ”之(zhi) ”is a verb that means ”往(wang)、适(shi)” (to go to somewhere form somewhere).The form ”无耻之耻” is not a modification structure. The traditional explanation of the sentence of ”无耻之耻, 无耻矣” is rational.
