摘要
Iris Murdoch is the famous philosophical novelist after the war. She skillfully combines the serious philosophical thoughts with the plots more readable. Through the form of the novel, she explains and illustrates her own philosophical perspectives and ethics thoughts. Many main characters, such as ”the good”, ”the evil” and ”the religious” figures, etc. appear frequently in different novels. Therefore, it is more beneficial to have a whole understanding of her purposes of novel creation by analyzing the typologized figures in her novels.
